OriginPro 2021 Installation Instructions

OriginPro is a Windows only program. Mac and linux users must use some form of virtualization.

We have a network 5 seat license, meaning everyone can install the program on their computer but only 5 copies can be running at any one moment in time.

  1. Download the installer file off argenta2.rd.unr.edu or go to https://www.originlab.com/ to download it from the manufacturer
  2. Unzip it
  3. Run setup.exe
  4. Choose the option to install with serial numbers
  5. Use the serial number GF3S4-3089-7909456
  6. For all the installation choices I just chose the default values
  7. The first time you launch Orgin it will pop up a dialog box asking for the FlexIm Server and TCP/IP port
  8. For the FlexIM Server type argenta2.rd.unr.edu
  9. For the TCP/IP port use 27000
  10. After entering the above information click the Update button on the dialog box and if everything worked the dialog box will close and you'll get a pop-up box saying "Your license has been updated successfully"
